The Psychiatry Residency Program at Michigan State University / Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies is dedicated to fostering compassionate care and promoting clinical excellence in psychiatry. We are a fully accredited, four year program preparing physicians for board-certification in psychiatry.

Our four year, clinically oriented residency:
- Is tailored to recent changes in psychiatric health care
- Provides residents with a strong foundation in psychotherapy and neurosciences
- Prepares trainees to be effective consultants to primary care physicians and other mental health professionals
- Attends to the individuals needs and interests of each physician-in-training
