MSU/KCMS offers ancillary services at our Oakland Drive facility that include an outpatient laboratory on our Concourse level, as well as radiology and pharmacy services for your convenience. The pharmacy can be reached at 337-6330.

Our Billing Department

When you arrive for your appointment, please have your insurance card with you. We will bill your insurance for you. You will need to bring your insurance card with you to every visit.

To process your bill in a timely fashion, we will also need a current address and phone number. Having incorrect information will delay payments by your insurance company.

If your insurance has a co-pay for an office visit, you will be responsible to pay at this time of your visit.

We have Patient Financial Counselors who can assist you with any questions you may have with your bill. You may reach them at 337-4460. They will also assist you in setting up a payment plan if necessary.

You may ask the front desk staff for a fee schedule if you have a question about the fees that MSU/KCMS charges for the services provided to you during your office visit.

Managed Care

The Managed Care Department works closely with physicians to ensure efficient and timely referrals for care. They will assist your MSU/KCMS primary care physician with authorization for services, when required by your insurance.

We will assist in scheduling services with other healthcare providers, as ordered by your physician.

Visits to any specialist may require an authorization from your primary care physician. You are responsible for requesting authorizations from your primary care physician prior to your scheduled specialist visit.

All services requiring prior authorization must be approved by your physician and your insurance company before you arrive for your appointment.
