Conference and Didactic Schedule

Residents participating in the Women’s Health Track attend daily conferences consistent with their primary care rotations. However, to help broaden your women’s health focus, you’ll be encouraged to incorporate gender differences into your regularly scheduled case presentations, journal club readings and individual case discussions with attendings. The following conferences focus exclusively on women’s health issues.

Internal Medicine Grand Rounds

Grand Rounds conferences are offered weekly. Women’s health issues are addressed during 4 consecutively schedule conferences, offering a broad view of current issues and trends.
Journal Club

An informal, critical literature review focusing on women’s health.
Lifestyle Studies

A lecture series designed to help residents and students find their individual balance between career and personal life.
Women’s Health Reading Curriculum
12
A one-month component of our nationally recognized 24-month reading curriculum focusing on women’s health. Additionally, the remaining 23 months of subspecialty assignments highlight unique aspects of women’s health.
