As a primary/tertiary care center, Kalamazoo is the referral site for

southwest Michigan. With over 36,000 annual inpatient admissions and more than 158,000 emergency department visits between Borgess and Bronson Hospitals (Both Level I Trauma Centers), your training will be comprehensive.

Our state-of-the-art 90,000-square foot ambulatory care/teaching center sees more than 68,000 visits annually. We have 22 subspecialty clinics and a full range of on-site ancillary services.

Borgess Medical Center and Bronson Methodist Hospital each have approximately 350 beds. They are less than 10 minutes from the MSU/KCMS campus. This proximity allows us to provide a continuity clinic, providing you the opportunity to develop patient rapport.

In addition to the partnership maintained with MSU/KCMS, the two hospitals have formed other joint ventures that you can be part of, West Michigan AirCare and West Michigan Cancer Center.
